OMSA

logo The Ostrava Medical Student Association (OMSA), is a vibrant, student-led organization committed to supporting international students enrolled in the English-language medical program at the University of Ostrava. Its mission is to foster an inclusive, welcoming community where students from around the world feel supported and empowered throughout their medical journey.

OMSA is built on four core pillars: academic support, professional development, social engagement, and cultural integration. Through initiatives such as peer mentoring, skill-building workshops, networking events, and cultural celebrations, OMSA enhances both the academic experience and personal growth of its members. By collaborating with Czech-speaking student groups and national organizations, OMSA also plays a key role in bridging cultural divides and strengthening community ties.

Study Tips from Seniors

Designed for first-year students. Upper-year students will give short presentations and share advice about different subjects, study techniques, and university life.

Cultural Night: A Taste of Home

A social event where students can bring food or drinks that represent their culture. There will also be games and other fun activities.

Anatomy Series

Revision sessions in the anatomy lab with students and lecturers.
